AI job search that ranks roles by how well they actually fit you
Workzil's AI job matching engine pulls jobs from 50+ boards, scores each one against your profile, and tells you exactly why it made the cut. Stop scrolling, start interviewing.

What is AI job matching?
AI job matching is the process of using machine learning to score how well a job posting fits a specific candidate, then ranking the candidate's search results by that score instead of by recency or paid placement. The same idea powers Netflix's recommendations and Spotify's Discover Weekly — only here it is pointed at your career.
Traditional job boards index jobs and let you keyword-search them. That worked when there were a few hundred listings per city. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics tracks tens of millions of open postings every month; no human can read them. The World Economic Forum Future of Jobs report projects roughly a fifth of all roles will be restructured by 2030, so the matching problem only gets harder. An AI job board reads the postings for you and tells you which 20 are worth your morning.
Workzil's engine is built around a simple promise: every job in your shortlist has an explanation. You should never have to guess why it was surfaced. If the match is wrong, one click retrains the ranker; if it is right, one click moves it into your application tracker with the auto-apply assistant ready to go.
How does workzil AI job matching work?
1. Tell workzil what you actually want
Upload a resume or paste a few sentences about the role you want. Workzil extracts your skills, seniority, location preferences, target salary, and red flags into a structured profile you can edit any time.
2. We aggregate jobs from 50+ boards
Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Workable, BambooHR, AngelList/Wellfound, Ashby and more — refreshed every few hours. You see the merged, de-duplicated feed, not 50 tabs.
3. Every job gets an AI fit score
Workzil scores each posting against your profile on skill overlap, seniority, comp, location, visa fit, and recency. A short plain-English explanation tells you what matched and what did not.
4. Strong matches surface first
Your shortlist is ranked by fit, not by recency, ad spend, or "Easy Apply" badges. New jobs that beat your current shortlist trigger a daily digest so you never miss a fresh opening.
5. Ask follow-up questions in plain English
Open chat on any job and ask "what would I be missing?" or "draft talking points for the interview." The matching engine and the assistant share the same context, so answers stay grounded.
6. Learn as you click
Save, dismiss, or apply — workzil watches what you actually engage with and quietly retunes the next batch. The system gets sharper the more you use it.
How is this different from LinkedIn's and Indeed's own matching?
LinkedIn and Indeed run matching engines, but both are constrained by their own inventory and ad model. LinkedIn ranks roles where the employer has paid for promoted reach; Indeed's sponsorship algorithm sits between you and the listing. Both default to recency. Both want you to apply on-platform, so they keep the matching shallow.
Workzil is not a job board competitor — we sit on top of LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, and 45+ others as an AI layer that scores every posting from every source. Because we are not selling the listings, we have no reason to promote one over another. Our only incentive is to put you in the room.
- Cross-board ranking — you compare a Greenhouse job and a LinkedIn job side by side.
- Transparent scoring — every match has a written explanation.
- Bundle effect — matching feeds straight into the same tracker, auto-apply, and interview-prep workflow, so you never re-enter your data.
- No promoted listings ever — we will never sell ranking.
Who is this for?
Adaeze, senior backend engineer in Lagos
Wants remote-friendly EU roles paying €90k+, refuses agencies, and only has 30 minutes a day to browse. Workzil filters out the noise and surfaces five strong fits per morning.
Mehmet, recent CS grad in Berlin
New to the market and unsure which roles are realistic. The fit score doubles as a feedback loop — he can see exactly which skills are gating him from senior roles and which junior roles are well within reach.
Sigrid, product manager pivoting from fintech to climate tech
Needs a search that understands transferable skills, not just keyword matches. Workzil weighs context (mission alignment, domain switch) and surfaces 20+ roles that traditional boards would have buried.
Tomaž, contract DevOps consultant in Ljubljana
Only wants 6-month engagements that pay in EUR. Workzil lets him persist that filter once and never see another permanent listing again.
Matching is just one piece — the bundle is the point
Specialist AI tools do one thing well. Lazyapply automates submissions. Teal stores your pipeline. FinalRoundAI rehearses interviews. Workzil ships all of them under one roof so the matching engine, the auto-apply assistant, the tracker, and the interview coach share the same profile and feedback signal. That is why fit scores get sharper the more you apply.
