Tesla Lays Off More Than 14,000 as EV Demand Cools Globally
Tesla cut more than 10% of its global workforce — about 14,000 employees — in one of the largest layoffs in the company's history. The cuts came as Tesla faced declining vehicle deliveries, increased competition from Chinese EV makers, and margin pressure from repeated price cuts. Several senior executives also departed in the weeks surrounding the announcement.
