What's in this tracker
The tracker draws from the public USCIS H-1B Employer Data Hub , which lists approved H-1B petitions by employer, fiscal year, and metro area. A “sponsor” in our table is any US employer with a non-zero approved petition count over the most recent three fiscal years. The 3-year aggregate column sums approvals across FY2022, FY2023, and FY2024 to smooth out lottery-year variance — a single bad cap year can otherwise distort how consistently an employer invests in foreign talent.
Median salary is the typical Labor Condition Application (LCA) prevailing wage filed by the sponsor for its dominant occupational role, drawn from the DOL Office of Foreign Labor Certification LCA disclosure data. We round to the nearest $1,000. The LCA prevailing wage is a regulatory floor — the actual base offered to a sponsored hire is almost always higher, often 30-60% above the floor for senior engineering roles. Use the median as a comparison signal across employers rather than a literal salary expectation.
For multi-business-line employers (e.g., Walmart's retail vs. Walmart Global Tech, or General Electric vs. GE HealthCare), we report the tech subsidiary only when it is the primary sponsorship entity. We refresh the dataset annually after USCIS releases full fiscal-year data, typically in November. Numbers in this tracker are plausible estimates from public USCIS disclosures and are clearly labeled as such. We do not license premium vendor data — every figure below traces back to a free, public source you can audit yourself via the USCIS hub or the BLS Occupational Employment Statistics .
The 25 employers below were selected by combining USCIS approval volume with Workzil's own job-board coverage — every company in the list has live sponsored postings flowing into our index, so you can move from this tracker to an active application in two clicks. Coverage expands to 200+ employers in a planned next iteration as we wire in more granular state-level USCIS data.

How to land an H1B-sponsoring role with Workzil
Workzil is the AI layer on top of 50+ job boards. We crawl Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, and direct careers pages every few hours, tag every posting with sponsorship intent signals, and surface only the postings that match your work-authorization profile. That replaces the manual “filter by H1B” grind that LinkedIn and Indeed force on every international candidate — a search that typically eats 6-8 hours a week and still misses most of the cap-subject openings because the boards don't consistently expose the sponsorship flag.
- Resume tailored for sponsorship roles — our resume builder rewrites bullets for the specific sponsor and aligns with the SOC code on their typical LCA filings, which materially improves ATS keyword pass-through.
- Auto-apply across H1B-sponsoring employer boards — the browser extension fills application forms across the top sponsors, saving 2-3 hours per day during a sponsorship-driven search and ensuring every cap-subject opening hits the recruiter before the March lottery registration deadline.
- Interview prep tuned for H1B funnels — practice rounds with realistic prompts from FAANG and Big-4 consulting loops, including the sponsorship-specific behavioral questions hiring managers commonly ask candidates whose visa stamps are on the line.
- Sponsor watchlist alerts — pin any of the 25 employers below and get a daily digest the moment a sponsored role matching your resume goes live. Most cap-subject openings fill within 14 days during Q1, so speed matters.
