Why STAR matters
STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) is the answer structure interviewers at Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and most major consulting firms explicitly train for. Answers that miss one dimension — especially Result — score dramatically lower than answers that cover all four, regardless of how good the underlying story is. The trial scoring makes that gap visible.
If you keep an answer bank (a doc of your strongest STAR-format stories indexed by competency), the Workzil trial works well as a practice harness against it — paste a stored answer, see whether your STAR coverage would land in a real loop.
