Peloton Cuts About 6% of Staff in $100 Million Restructuring
Peloton Interactive laid off roughly 6% of its global team — an estimated 125 to 175 roles — as part of a new $100 million cost-restructuring plan that also cut indirect spending and relocated some work. CEO Peter Stern told staff that 'our operating expenses remain too high, which hinders our ability to invest in our future.' It was Peloton's latest cut following a roughly 400-person reduction in May 2024, as the connected-fitness company kept reshaping its cost base.
